2021 Ham Auction on Zoom
Auction Information
Every year, club members and other folks in our area, clean out their ham shacks and garages. They bring boxes of ham-related items like radios, QSL cards, amateur radio magazines, coax cables, power supplies, antennas and all kinds of other items to our Annual Auction.
As the SELLER of a radio or antenna (also other ham-related items) you will receive 90% of the proceeds and our club retains 10% of each item sold. This helps to fund our club's activities like our latest adventure: the Newbie Committee, where we purchase and then loan out equipment to brand-new amateur radio operators in our club, getting them started in the wonderful hobby of Ham Radio!
This year, we intend to do this auction ONLINE for the first time, using Zoom. The auction is scheduled for February 20, 2021 to begin at 10 AM, but will open one-hour early to get everyone familiar with the procedures. We should be finishing up about Noon.
A couple of hours later, there will be a "drive-thru" exchange of items sold during the auction.
As the SELLER. you are automatically registered as a BIDDER.
