I am thankful for all the people in our club!
I am thankful for my dad, K8BKE. We were able to spend over 50 years in this great hobby before his passing.
Meeting new friends who have the same passion for Amateur Radio, and are eager to help others.
I am thankful for being able to join the club, and for the loaner equipment. I was able to get on the air almost as soon as I joined. Later was able to purchase some equipment at minimal cost, which will be donated back to the club at some point :-)
I am grateful for my friends in the ham community.
I am thankful for the fellowship of fellow hams.
The list of things I am thankful for with ham radio are many, however, the thing I am most thankful for is my wife Wanda, W7POO, whom I met thanks to the wonderful hobby.
I am thankful for.....finding the WVARC :o)
I am thankful to Art Smith, KI7GYK, for helping me get started in Amateur Radio!
I am thankful for the new friendships + the knowledge that goes with it.
I am thankful for all the dear and wonderful friends I have made through ham radio. I am thankful I can share a hobby with my hubby. I am so thankful for all the great help we have gotten from people we know through ham radio. We are thankful for our shack, and the help we got making our shack better. It's also a nice place to take a great nap in.
As some of you may know, I am not always easy to work with, and I am thankful that most of you don't take it personally. [I am mellowing with age:-)] I am also grateful for the knowledge, skills and friendships gained (and some lost) over the five years of being a ham and volunteering with this club.
