About This Event
Learn how to select and assemble a portable solar generation system for ham radio gear and ancillary equipment such as antenna tuners, lights, and laptops. The class covers electrical demand, battery capacity and chemistry, photovoltaic panel sizing, charge controllers, battery boxes, wiring, connectors, circuit breakers, and inverters.
This is a three-hour class. To register, email wv7hs-class@outlook.com. Classes are free and open to the public; space is typically limited to 10 students.
