This sample preamble is a starting point for WVARC Net Control Operators. Personalize it for the net you are running, confirm the current repeater and schedule in the Net Calendar, and make the delivery your own.
Keep It Natural
A preamble gives the net structure, but it does not need to sound like legal fine print. Speak clearly, leave room for emergency or priority traffic, explain how the net will operate, and then get people on the air.
The wording below follows the purpose of the original WVARC preamble while keeping changing schedule information out of the script. Use the current Net Calendar for dates and times.

This is an open, directed net. Please route all traffic through Net Control. All licensed amateur radio operators are welcome; WVARC membership is not required.
