About This Event
Learn to design and model complex antennas without complex math. The class introduces antenna fundamentals and terminology, then models a simple 10-meter dipole and a three-element Yagi-Uda antenna for the 70-centimeter band using the free Windows application 4NEC2. Topics include antenna height, efficiency, standing wave ratio (SWR), impedance, radiation patterns, and optimization.
