About This Event
Join the West Valley Amateur Radio Club in supporting Jamboree-on-the-Air (JOTA) 2026 and helping introduce Scouts to amateur radio. Approximately 30 to 40 Scouts, ages 11 to 18, are expected.
Volunteers Needed
- Operate radios on site
- Answer contacts from home
- Provide demonstrations
- Cook and serve food
- Assist with setup and cleanup
The club will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks. Some Scouts may use what they learn toward the Radio Merit Badge, but this is not a Radio Merit Badge class or merit badge event.
Please complete the volunteer survey as soon as possible. No Google account is required. Mike K7BLT or Josh KE7WIL will contact volunteers and confirm assignments.
