Was that fun or what! The WVARC celebrated World Amateur Radio Day with a Potluck Picnic and Foxhunt at Beardsley Park! It was a beautiful day and a fun time for all!

Volunteering to Host a Net is the easiest way:
- to find out if you like being a Net Control.
- to better your skills as a Net Control before tackling a more stressful situation.
- to provide a variety of styles and subjects to our nets.
- to participate and build confidence in ham radio communication!
No need to be a club member, but you do need to be a licensed Amateur Radio Operator. Who knows, after a time or two, you may find that you really like being a Net Control and become one of our regulars.
