A group of club members are taking a road trip to the town of Green Valley to tour the Titan Missile Museum. This will happen on Saturday, December 13th. Some of us will be taking our own vehicles and will have plenty of space for passengers as we head south of Tucson.
If interested in the tour, our group will ONLY reserve 11am or 12pm on Saturday, December 13th!

We will also operate on HF using a cold war era military discone antenna which is on the grounds of the Titan Missile Museum. What is a discone antenna?

Immediate Need for a Zoom Trainee
WVARC needs a Zoom trainee pronto! The trainee would be responsible for running Zoom Audio/Video, hall sound system, storing and maintaining of the Zoom Equipment. Without a backup, we could lose our Zoom capability. It is crucial for those members that cannot attend meetings and other events.

Net Controllers Needed!
Volunteering to Host a Net is the easiest way:
- to find out if you like being a Net Control.
- to better your skills as a Net Control before tackling a more stressful situation.
- to provide a variety of styles and subjects to our nets.
- to participate and build confidence in ham radio communication!
No need to be a club member, but you do need to be a licensed Amateur Radio Operator. Who knows, after a time or two, you may find that you really like being a Net Control and become one of our regulars.
